Miss Fortune

This project started as a personal study for using Texture Xyz and Mari. Having always been a fan of Riots game, I decided to work on fan art of Miss fortune from Jason Chan’s League of Legends: Season Start 2018 “CLIMB” concepts. I did take the liberty to tweak the proportions and art style to realism. Either way, my goal was to create a realtime character in Marmoset toolbag and try out Texture xyz pipeline for the skin details/ textures. Apart from the skin most of the other textures were done via Substance Painter. I do have to give props to Travis Davids for the awesome fabric materials. I also used Aleksey Kudryavtsev and Maxime Conquy’s substance materials for this project. The sculpt was pretty straightforward with the cloth being simulated with Marvelous designer. I used Rosemaryr’s IMM Embroidery brush over the lace fabric. In regards to the eye set up in Marmoset, I used similar techniques that were shown at Unreal demo at GDC 2018.

Its been a while since I did some realism for my personal work. Trying to implement the techniques that was shown at Unreal demo at GDC 2018.My goal is to achieve believable results in marmoset toolbag.  Here are couple of sceenshots of the head inside marmoset toolbag 2.04

Long time ,

Been doing some clothing in Marvelous and have taken into Zbrush. Here is a screenshot of the current stage of the character. Still Tonnes of work left. This is merely a teaser 😉

Also did a quick look dev in marmoset of the decimated clothing and crappy materials 😉

Further More work on the hair. adjusted the volume and trying for more of a layered messy look. Pretty pleased so far. Few more cards near scalp and should be good 🙂
